Back in 1959 in Shreveport, Louisiana in the USA an electrical engineer called John Scurlock with a keen interest in physics was experimenting with inflatable covers for a government project when he spotted his sons enjoying a bounce on the inflatable structure. We don’t believe for one second that he didn’t have a go himself! He was a pioneer of inflatable structures with his greatest achievement being the invention of the safety air cushion that is commonly used by fire fighters to catch people jumping from buildings or heights.

Things have moved on a lot since the late 1950’s but we all know that adults still love a bounce because let’s face it, we never really grow up. Our fantastic quality adult suitable bouncy castles are suitable for all ages from children to centenarian, all ages can have a go. Our premium castles are engineered to withstand even the biggest of bouncing behemoths. The bouncing beds are around 1m deep to allow for the bigger bellied bouncers amongst us and sewn together with a high strength webbing that’s very similar to seat belt material. The walls are 1.8m tall to ensure even the tallest cloud dwellers can’t bounce over them and they all have a bigger bounce area than a standard children’s castle. So don’t let just the kids have all the fun, hire an adult castle and send them to bed early so the adults can play!

That's why all of our castles are annually tested by a registered RPII Inspector and given a traceable PIPA tag to ensure they conform to the strictest health and safety standards. Our electrical equipment is annually PAT tested and we provide thermal cut-outs on all electrical items hired as set out by the HSE for good practice. We also have Public Liability Insurance up to £5 million covering us for entering your property and setting up our equipment safely at your event. Full safety instructions highlighting key areas of safety are given when handing over responsibility of any equipment to you.
